ABOUT
My Approach
Leading with compassion and care, I create a safe and supportive space where you are invited to explore your thoughts and emotions. This initial stage of holding space allows for deep self-reflection, helping you uncover patterns, beliefs, and past experiences that may be shaping your present challenges. By offering a non-judgmental environment, I support you in processing your emotions at a pace that feels right for you.
From there, we co-create a goal that aligns with what matters most to you, ensuring our work remains purposeful and personalised. To deepen your understanding of your current challenges, we integrate relevant mental health resources, providing practical tools and insights that empower you to navigate difficulties with greater clarity and confidence. This stage bridges reflection with action, equipping you with strategies that support meaningful change.
Throughout our work together, I continue to invite the body into the therapeutic process, incorporating mindfulness and somatic practices to help you cultivate presence, regulate emotions, and develop a deeper connection to yourself. These body based techniques enhance self-awareness and resilience, making them particularly powerful in managing stress, anxiety, and overwhelm.
By weaving together emotional processing, mental health education, and embodied awareness, this approach fosters a sense of safety, balance, and inner strength, supporting you in moving forward with greater ease and confidence.
Education and PROFESSION
I completed my postgraduate training in Teaching and in Counselling. I have been practising as a Teacher for close to a decade and continue to work in schools as a Mental Health Worker.
Over the past three years I have honed in my skills in various mental health organisations supporting individuals and groups in one-on-one sessions and evidence-based wellbeing programs. In 2023, I co-founded Gather & Weave Collective, a mental health service aimed at supporting individuals to build emotional awareness and develop healthier ways to manage and express emotions. I have also worked in the community, supporting volunteer mentors in navigating mentor/mentee relationships. This work has included facilitating groups focused on enhancing interpersonal skills, fostering empathy, and promoting emotional awareness.
